I usually like either the neck or bridge but never the set. They don't have a brittle top end or mushy low end and they have a beautiful presence that stands out in the mix." - Bart Walker about the Alley Cat humbucker set.Artists Playing: Adam Shoenfeld (Session Guitarist Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, on tour with Tim McGraw), Andy Davis (The Band Perry) Kip Moore, Matt Scannell (vertical horizons), Sean Hurwitz (Smash Mouth), Bart Walker, Tyrone Carreker (Guitarist Sam Hunt, Blues Artist Nashville 2013)

5 of 5 Alleycat is right up my Alley! March 11, 2014
Reviewer: Rick Palma from Leeds, AL United States
Got this pickup to put in the neck position of my road worn player tele in combination with a Cheetah bridge. This pickup really sings. Very crisp and punchy, no mud whatsoever. Very vintage sounding and way better than the '57 Classics in my Les Paul. Sounds great clean, and equally impressive with any type of gain. Does some great ZZ Top "La Grange" tones, and with a little more gain, it's all Jimmy Page. Great pickup for any guitar that needs a humbucker.

5 of 5 AlleyCats May 13, 2012
Reviewer: Chris Wenkle from Auburn, WA United States
I contacted David Allen via email, asking him to suggest a humbucker for my 6 year old PRS SE.  It is a pretty well made Korean guitar, and I previously installed some USA made PRS Singlecut pickups in it early on.  It sounded pretty good.  After I had the AllyCats installed it completely changed the sound.  These pickups are SO musical, with great overtones and well balanced string to string definition.  The tone is sweet in all three positions (Neck--Neck and Bridge--Bridge) and it drives well when pushed.  This guitar now actually sounds better than the USA made PRS guitars I've played and owned.  Thanks David for the great suggestion!
